My other tattoo is on my wrist! :D It hurts, yes, but probably less than you're thinking. Also it wouldn't take more than 20 minutes to do, so don't be a sissy <3 Tattoos in general don't hurt as bad as the hype. It feels like--cat scratches. Or being pinched. It's hard to explain.
I said to my artist, "This is going to sound weird but it hurts more when you wipe away the blood than it does when the tattooing is happening."
It's the weirdest kind of pain. I realize that even while I'm describing it as a cat scratch or a pinprick, that these are not things people often volunteer to experience--but at least, with a tattoo, you come away with something beautiful. It's so worth it. I can't imagine a rose on your wrist would cost you more than like, 100 bucks if you do the lines and color in the same sitting.
It's your body, sweetheart. If he loves you, he'll deal <3
(it was kind of awesome when I told my mom. I didn't tell her about the first one so when I mentioned I'd gotten this tattoo she was like, "why the fuck would you do that!!" and I just sort of said, "...well, it's not my first one... XD"-- she was speechless for about three seconds.)
ahahahah that is awesome XDD it's kind of weird for me to imagine nat with crazy elaborate sleeves. most of her tattoo ideas stem around text and/or airplanes.
admittedly, a text+airplane sleeve would be kind of rad.
